Everything was grey. The sand, the hills, the sky. There was no life here. Or so it seemed. Because in between the dust-colored lifeless cacti, smoke was billowing from a small, concrete house. But smoke had to come from fire. And fire isn't colorless.
Fire can't be colorless. Moreover, to make fire you'd need wood or another flammable material, and there was none to be found outside the City.
The door of the house opened and a woman walked out. She was tall, with long ash-blonde hair held back in a ponytail, and she wore a denim overall and grey boots. Whether they were actually grey or if it was the dust that had made them so, was unclear
leo was in his favorite place in the world: disneyland. the sun softly touched his cheeks and dark hair and he smiled as he saw all the people around him having fun. disney was the place to have a good time, to forget the rest of the world and enjoy yourself. that’s why leo loved the place so much.
suddenly he saw someone who wasn’t enjoying herself though. a young woman sitting on a bench with her head in her hands. “hello”, leo said to her. she looked up to him with blue eyes through her red hair and replied with a befuddled “hello” back. “what’s the matter, miss?” leo said. “well
sweat was streaming down dan’s face. he was no runner, but he’d had to. the darkness lagged behind, at least for now. he still held out his wand, just in case. “i cannot let this happen, not again”, he thought. he was happy now. not the insecure young lad that cried while listening to his favorite bands, manes of dark brown hair in his face. still, the darkness followed him around, waiting for a moment of weakness. then it would strike. and dan was scared. he was even more scared now that he was in a happier place.
"why won’t my phone work?!" he thought. "oh, right, today is a magical day". dan was so used to mu

Tesmea watched the cosy sunlit street from her balcony. She looked at the flowers on the balconies opposite hers, the little shops where old people were chatting with each other, some dogs that seemed to be sunbathing on the sidewalk… It gave her a very peaceful feeling. As she took a nip from her large glass of fruit juice she thought: "The world does seem like paradise from here."
Tesmea originally came from Afghanistan, but her family had fled from the violence there. Fortunately they had been rich enough to take them on a plane to France where she now lived in a small, pittor
Michael sat on the beach, the few stars visible through thick clouds glittering on the black water. He was completely alone, but he felt less lonely than when he had been among people, for they didn't understand him anyway. Here on his island, he could appreciate the silent night, the salty air and the magic that was nature. Michael felt like he was performing a prayer, rather then saying one. Just looking into the distant sea made him feel one with the cosmos. Tears clouded his vision but made the glittering waves even brighter.
"Michael, we're here" the hoarse voice of the driver interrupted his beautiful daydream. He was back in the real
Before I knew it, the contours of the school building appeared in my sight. The jail like building was so ugly, no one ever really looked at it. Most kids chatted intensely to each other while walking inside, or held the busiest phone conversations, their eyes squinted as if they were looking into the sun. I didn't have a phone because I didn't have friends anyway so I couldn't help but look. As I slumped up the stairs, I was tugged back down by my backpack by one of the bullies and fell to the ground. Now there was a stain on my only acceptable looking shirt. While the bullies laughed at me, I walked up the stairs again and was the first stu
She played the violin. Ever since she was seven years old, her violin had been her friend, and that bond had tightened over the years. Sarah sat on a terrace in Amsterdam, drinking a solitary cup of coffee, watching the busy street with its many colorful people. You could expect to see drunk British tourists, fashionable girls with fashionable head scarfs, flamboyant drag queens and busloads of Asian people with cameras. This comfortable chaos made Sarah feel right at home. She was born and raised in Amsterdam but now she lived in a village just outside the capital. Most people who weren't very rich lived in such villages, because the rent in
She was a vampire! She never wanted this... She had accepted her death underwater, and had been happy that Matt was saved. It was in her protective nature that she had forced Stefan to save him in stead of herself out of the sinking car. It had been a peaceful last moment for her. Nothing like the chaos that stormed around in her head now. When she awakened, she was so shocked by everything. She remembered everything. She had been too dumbstruck to process it all. When Damon and Stefan had pleaded with her to please drink some human blood, she managed to drink a bag. They tried talking to her. But she could only stare into the distance.
